1. Beta context
Lumina is currently in beta. Most features are free to use during this period. Any payments — donations, support tiers, or in-app purchases — are entirely optional and intended to fund continued development.
2. Donations
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. They do not entitle you to any specific feature, premium access, or ownership stake unless explicitly stated at the time of donation. By donating, you acknowledge you are supporting development, not purchasing a product.
3. Subscriptions and recurring charges
If you sign up for a paid subscription:
- You may cancel at any time from in-app settings or by contacting support; cancellation stops future renewals.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- If you were charged due to a clear billing error on our side (e.g. double charge, charge after confirmed cancellation), contact support within 14 days for a full refund of the affected charge.
4. One-time in-app purchases
One-time purchases (e.g. unlocking a feature) are non-refundable once the content has been delivered or unlocked on your account, except where required by your local consumer-protection law.
5. EU / UK consumers — right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital service purchase. By starting to use a paid digital feature immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided.
6. How to request a refund
Email or contact support from in-app settings within the relevant window above. Include: your account email, the date and amount of the charge, the payment method, and a short reason. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback — most issues can be resolved quickly. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension.
8. Currency and taxes
Charges may appear in your local currency at the exchange rate set by your payment provider. Where applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax) are collected by our payment processor; refunds include the tax originally charged.
9. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy as Lumina evolves out of beta. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
